Terms and Conditions
PASSPORT AND VISA(S)
It is the responsibility of each tour participant to obtain a valid Passport and Visa(s) for all countries to be visited. Any delay, loss or extra expense because of not obtaining valid travel documents is the sole responsibility of the participants. Non-U.S. citizens must contact the appropriate consulate for passport/visa entry requirements. Minors traveling with one parent/guardian or without either parent/guardian must present a notarized letter of permission from the absent parent(s)/guardian(s).
REVISIONS AND CHANGES
Bookings can be changed by you subject to space availability, for a fee of $25.00 per person per revision. An entire booking that is changed of destination, travel date, flight or hotel is considered a cancellation fees outlined above. A change of destination, travel date, flight or hotel is considered a cancellation and the regular cancellation changes outlined apply.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Trip cancellation, health, baggage and accident insurance are available and strongly recommended.
CONNECTIONS
Operator(s) assumes no responsibility or liability in the event you miss the flights or tours due to weather, other delays, or late arrival of your connecting flight. Tour participants purchasing air transportation for connections to or from this tour package assume total responsibility liability in the event connections are missing.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Baggage allowance is 4430 pounds per person. Any overweight luggage is subject to additional charges by carriers. For international flight, the air carrier’s liability is limited to the actual value of the baggage, but no more than $9.07 per pound in case of checked baggage and approximately $400.00 per passenger for unchecked baggage.
SUPPLIERS
Operator(s) decides with airlines, hotel, car rental companies, tour operators and other independent parties to provide you with travel services you purchase. These services are subject to the conditions of carriage and international agreements, Operator(s) and/or its agents are not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking of hotels, default of third parties, weather, strikes, acts of God, force majeure, war quarantine or any other cause beyond its control. Flight schedules and prices are subject to change without notice.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Notification of cancellation should be called into our reservation department and request for refund must be made in writing to Sun Valley Tourist within 30 days of travel. Cancellation charges depend on the length of time prior to departure that a cancellation notice is received. Cancellation charges up to $300.00 per person plus penalties may apply. Penalties assessed by suppliers, airlines, hotels, resorts and condominiums to Operator(s) as a result cancellation will be deducted from due.
SCHEDULED AIR PROGRAMS
Cancellation penalties for scheduled airline programs vary with each airline. Tickets may be non-refundable. Name changes may not be allowed. UNUSED FEATURES – No refund or credit will be given, in whole or in part, for unused air transportation, land transportation, hotel accommodations, or other features you voluntarily do not use. Any feature designated as complimentary is provided without cost and has no refund
due.
DOCUMENTS
Travel documents will be issued approximately 14 days prior to departure after full payment has been accepted by us. We may require that documents for bookings made within 14 days of departure be sent via express delivery solely at your expense
PRICES
Our prices are in U.S. dollars and based on operating costs, fuel prices and currency exchange rates at the time of contracting with suppliers and on cost of planning and tour operations. Should these prices increase, you will be notified and requested to pay the additional costs. In the event you decide to cancel, a full refund will be made subject to the cancellation charges outlined above. Tour package prices exclude foreign departure taxes, airport passenger facility changes, other inspection or government fees or service charges other than those specifically outlined in tour itinerary.
